Reverse Out of an Angled Bay

Start parked, check the aisle, and reverse out without clipping the neighboring car.

What you’ll learn

Check the aisle and both mirrors before reversing. Back far enough for the front corner and mirror to clear the neighboring vehicle, then turn toward the lane. Brake before any direction change and finish stopped in Park in the exit lane.

What to observe

Alternate the side mirror with direct observation of the front corner. The mirror and bumper must clear the parked row before you straighten in the aisle.
